Voting is an essential duty for American citizens. To encourage voting among young adults, I aimed to create an inspiring, lighthearted poster for this audience.

My final poster emphasizes the importance of voting while maintaining a casual tone. The phrase “decide your future” evokes a sense of urgency, but the playful graphics and color palette keep the tone spirited.

After researching previous vote posters, I decided to connect my design to magic. I started from scratch and made a mind map of words related to magic, which led me to include a crystal ball. In many media, crystal balls let people see into the future, so I wanted to link that magic to voting. After all, voting allows you to shape your own future.
