Everything I Know About Love is Laufey’s debut studio album. Tasked with redesigning the cover in my own style, I relied solely on Adobe Photoshop, avoiding any images of the artist. Photoshop allowed me to assemble a unified collage that communicates the album’s affectionate spirit.

Inspired by the album’s romantic tone, I featured art from the Romantic era. To modernize it, I made the art appear as if painted on a white brick wall using Photoshop effects, experimenting with advanced layer blend modes, adjustments, and type settings to create cupid figures, flowering vines, and the title “Everything I Know About Love.”

Since I was required not to include an image of Laufey, I was challenged to take a deep dive into the emotion and meaning behind her album’s music. To decide what kind of imagery to include in my work, I listened to the entire album, read the lyrics, and jotted down notes on the visuals I was imagining.
